Default Cylinder 1 misfire and mass air flow low input

A week ago, my check engine light came on, on my 1996 monte carlo LS 3.1 and said cylinder one misfire and mass air flow low input. So I changed my spark plugs, ignition wires, coils, and mass airflow sensor. And everything worked fine for a week, then yesterday, I accelerated pretty quick out of my driveway because of an oncoming car. and then the check engine light came on and i'm having the same error codes as before! Anyone have any ideas before i drive my car off a cliff?

i had the same problem for awhile with my 3.5 07 monty. first question did you get the mas air flow meter and coils and did you have the battery unpluged for at least an hour when you did the work? some aftermarket replacements for chevy are poor quality and hard to find some good ones that dont break within a week. i ended getting my coil pack from the dealer and the mass air flow meter from jeggs. the reson for that i ran in the same problem as befor with the mass air flow meter from the dealer then i got the one from jeggs. but getting some parts any where is pretty much hit and miss on the quality. what i mean make a thousand of the same part some are bound to have quality controll issues but. my question to you did you unplug your battery first befor replacing the parts? if so how long some times to reset the computer is to let the battery be disconected from the car and let it sit for a hour pushing two. it will help to reaet the computer from being in limp mode wich is designed to portect the motor to run normally.

what i ment about the battery being disconected is you are dealing with electrical it is bound to get some power even though the ignition is turnd off. also it is always best to let it sit with the battery disconected for a while to help reset the computer from preveus codes that are stored and might pop up

So if i let it sit for 2 hours or so and connect it and it still is screwy... There's a possibility i just might need a new mass air flow once again? Now i believe i got a remanufactured one, should i be looking for a new one instead?
