this could be great
Below is from a similar post on LS1Tech:
GMLS4.com has been working with CalSpeed and Performance of Bakersfield, CA to develop an improved, low-cost set of headers for the LS4 community.
This has been in the works for a while now, and I can finally share a few snippets about what is to come:
1. The GMLS4/CalSpeed headers will be a bolt-on piece, unlike the "other brand" which requires welding.
2. Our headers will be equipped with a pre-drilled and welded bung for a wideband O2 sensor. It will be delivered with a plug in it for those not using a wideband.
3. The GMLS4/CalSpeed headers will be built from polished stainless steel, not mild steel like our competitors.
4. All GMLS4/CalSpeed headers are made in the USA. 'Nuff said!
5. The GMLS4/CalSpeed headers will have a projected retail price of somewhere between $300-$350 + shipping. This is going to be an everyday price, so you won't need to wait for a group purchase.
6. Dyno numbers are pending, but gains should be similar to that offered by our competitors.
We're hoping to deliver the first sets of these headers sometime in the mid-fall.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here or just shoot me a PM. Also, if you have interest in buying set, post it on this thread. It will give us an idea of how many we'll need to order in the first run.
Like any product in development, specs, materials and prices are subject to change, but will be communicated when the headers are offered for sale.
