Default RE: CL?

Here is a little info I found on the net on the CL:

The '81-'86 Monte Carlo was available in the CL model. The '86-'88 Monte Carlo was available in the LS model. '81-'86 CL front end parts interchange, and uses the same sealed beam headlights (but not same headlight buckets) as the '83-'88 SS. You can actually use CL fenders on an SS after grinding rivets off. This design had a chrome headlight bucket. The '81-'86 CL used the same style taillights as the '83-'86 SS, with the reverse lights angled downward, and the taillight lens not visible on the side of the car.

'86-'88 LS had unique bumper cover and bumper bar, the fenders are '86-'88 LS *only*, the headlights are composite with replacable small plug in bulbs, and the wiring harness up front is LS only due to the bulb differences and locations. The headlights do not interchange with anything else GM. The '86-'88 LS used the same style taillights as '87 & '88 SS's, with the reverse lights flush with the taillight, and the taillight lens wrapping around the side of the taillight, visible on the side of the car.
