Default Car Shutting Off

Hey, nobody answers me on here, but I'll ask anyway..my car keeps idling, RPM meter going up and down at stops, then eventually shuts off. I had a similar issue before and I got my Crankshaft Sensor replaced and Oxygen Sensor replaced. Not the same issue is back. Any idea what it could be this time??

Check your MAF sensor..

Unplug it and see if the issue goes away..

I will try that, but to give you a better gauge lf a possible issue, my Crankshaft Sensor is replaced, Oxygen Sensor replaced, and MAP, & MAF (hopefully) is good, replaced a couple years ago brand new..

I assume no codes? I'll throw out throttle body needs cleaning, throttle position sensor going flakey, air idle control valve needs cleaning if you haven't checked these. I had a similar issue without the dying and took the IAC off and cleaned it and the seat and that helped. Also make sure all harnesses are completely seated.

IAC is def a possibility but usually when that goes bad the car wont start on its own anyway.. This isnt ALWAYS the case however.. Sometimes itll just run funny with a dirty/bad IAC..

I would check all of the sensors on the TB, make sure they are clean. Also pull the vacuum line off the FPR and see if it's wet/smells like gas.

Had this issue a few months ago on my 05, ended up being the MAF.
