ok. it wouldnt have been the filter because it recycles the air from your car for ac. filter draws outside air in. only if its low air flow. then change it.. like mine was..another thing your door could be off a little and let some air flow through the heater core also but a little unlikely. maybe undercharged... have autozone check the ac pressure high and low not running then running. see what they are and post them. make a decision from there

Take it back to the dealer and tell them to RECHARGE the system. They should have given you some kind of a warranty, like 3 months and 3000 miles.

i took it to my autozone and they were like WTF? we dont check it and gave me a shop around town. I was like well people told me u guys did and they were like no we dont. and to the dealership comment i called them back and they said that they cant check it out but they just want to throw a thermo in it. that wont solve the problem. They sold it to me as is. so i might have got ****ed. who knows.

call around. someone can hook up to the high side and low side to check your ac pressures. pisses me off that people pull bs like that to make a quick buck. go to a small shop that gets payed by the hour and not commision or the book time

just went to tire kingdom and they wouldnt tell me the pressures. they said freon was low. and the only way they could assure me was to do the whole system for 90 dollars. he also said the compressor wasnt working even tho the passenger side center vent blows a lil cold. so does anyone else have a problem were 3 blow warm and one goes cold?

It could be your control panel for the heat/air is screwed up if some vents seem to work and others don't. Before I bought my MC, I looked at a 2003 SS that had the driver's side vents blowing cold and the passenger side was blowing warm and I imagine the control panel was messed up.

Whatever you do, don't put any freon in your system unless its pure freon with no sealers. Those sealers are bad for your system and will screw more things up then they help, especially in a car as new as yours.

If your system is low on freon then it means you have a leak somewhere and it needs to be fixed correctly or you are always going to have to get it recharged. Look at all of your lines, hoses and the compressor and see if any of it looks dirty and oily. If so this is probably where you have a leak at. You can also buy some florecent dye to put in the system to tell you where the leak is.

If you take it to an actual AC shop they probably don't use freon with sealers in it but it will cost you to get it fixed right.

I learned how to do my own AC repair about four years ago when I had a 92 cavalier that my GF was driving that she wanted the AC fixed on. She bought the tools and equipment and I repaired and recharged the system and to this day the AC still works good. I have since repaired the systems on two of my vehicles as well as three others for friends of mine. If you do the repair right the first time you won't have to mess with it for a long time. If not, you will always be messing with it.

The other thing I recommend is get a good compressor if yours is leaking because most of the ones you can get at the local parts stores are junk. I get all of my stuff from ackits.com Good luck and let us know what you find out.
