7th Gen ('06-'07): BRAKES PULLING LEFT!!! - but Only hard into the pedal???
So my 7th gen pulls to the left when braking however this only occurs about 40-50% into the pedal. It is a sudden immediate pull you HAVE to compensate for while driving. ( especially at higher speeds {obviously}
) It definitely feels like the the front left wheel is the culprit. Have been Driving like this for some months now tried replacing the "wear items"/least costing first. It now feels like a caliper replacement is happening soon. now when that doesn't work I'll really be pissed. Just trying to get feedback from fellow owners or maybe someone with a like problem. for me the most curious thing is it not pulling until like i said 40-50% into the brake.
Since owning the Car: (142,000 miles)
1. I have replaced the all suspension parts last year. (not related...im sure)
2. both wheel bearing assemblies replaced.
-driver bearing went bad noticed during alignment procedures
-passenger wiring harness VSS failed continuity
3. New Brakes rotors and hoses (in an effort to fix pulling)
4. tires last week (NEW) ...needed them (even wear on old)
5. yes car has been recently aligned
6. no abnormal wear on old brake pads
7. no abnormal wear on rotors seamed to be worn evenly like pads
8. original CV axles however never had a problem (no sounds yet)
9. no ABS lights on...if fact the only time Ive seen it was due to failed VSS in wheel bearing assembly
10. if you let the wheel go car stays true (straight slightly right)
all thoughts Appreciated
