bleeder valve for coolant system

Default bleeder valve for coolant system

hi guys,i have a 2007 monte with a 3.5L and was wondering if it has a bleeder for the coolant system,i could not locate one but maybe i missed it.if it doesn't have one then what is the best way to get air out of system?

it's on the bottom of the radiator

Ummm...I could be mistaken, but I think the petcock on the bottom of the radiator is to drain the coolant...not air from the system.

I looked at a diagram of the cooling system for an '07 Monte w/3.5L and didn't see an air bleed either. I would think that the location of the surge tank hose would allow for air to escape from the system through it.

You don't have one. It's a new kind of cooling system that is supposed to burp itself of air as you drive it.

Fill it up, drive it a little, fill it up, etc. etc. until you are full.

I know on my monte there is one -_-!!! I have the 3800 series II though

Its under the engine cover towards the drives side.. it's a little gold bolt

Default bleeder valve location for cooling system

Where would be the exact location of the bleeder valve on a
2001 Monte Carlo LS 3.4L Cooling System, in order to drain any existing air?
