Default Best way to get the most out of DOD

I'm a newbie with an 06 SS, any tips for using the DOD, all I do is let off the gas to activate 4 cylinder mode,is there anything else I should try other than this method? I tried using cruise control but it stayed on 8 cylinders. Any tips would help. Just curious sorry for being a Noob Saibot.

I actually find getting up to speed/accelerating quicker and than letting DOD kick on works alright. There's really no way to make it more effective. I just let it do it's thing and not worry too much about it.

He's right... there really isnt any other way to get it to work. Normally when i get up to cruising speed, depending on the road terrain, it will kick into for flats or down hills.. once u hit an uphill on cruise control it will switch back to 8 to compensate. anything helps tho.

I know that Will is a good guy, and I was going to get my tune for my car from him, but found someone locally. Let me try to find the NAIOA post that he joined in on about some questions.

This seems pretty new. I haven't been able to find any reviews of his tune. Any help?

Drop him a line? Check your LS1tech, I'll let you know if I hear anything on NAIOA

Cool. And I already made a thread on LS1Tech about it. Found 1 Canadian who has a custom tune by him.
I'd love to find a cheap, used PCM and Trans. module to buy and send to him so I can get this done for $99 + shipping. Then keep my stock one in case I need it.
