hi kids, where is the BCM on my 04 ss?:confused:

It's on the drivers side above the parking brake lever. Under/behind the dash.

I believe this is the correct diagram

Looks like rockauto has them for $120-140 new. Requires a re-learn after installing. There's a few good links here on the site that can help you out with the re-learn process if you're comfortable doing it yourself. I've never had to replace mine but I'd do it myself before taking it to a dealership. No clue how expensive it would be to install.

Good luck doing it yourself. It's best to re-program it with the techII since you have to set up passlock any way.

just had mine done a few months ago at the dealer and it was around 400 to 500 cant remember the exact amount

Omg i cant see why everything is controlled by this. its like Colossus, The Forbin Project. it got a mind of its own and if u dont do what it wants it will shut down EVERYTHING.
