Default battery dead

So i was parked out front of an office for 45 min or so (no spots) with the hazards on. came out remote start wouldnt work. try the key car wont start, cant get the key back out. jump the car, fires up, but charging system and airbag service light come on. anyone else have this happen? later on in the night i fire it up all service lights are out. not going to buy a new battery times are tough just curious if its normal for the check lights to go out like that? thanks for any help.

It's possible that your battery died because it was being used while the car was off, then when you jumped it, some things didn't have enough power and tripped lights, but the alternator charged you back up and you are good now.

Just keep an eye on everything, but it sounds like it should all be okay.

I think the lights probably went out because there really is not a problem, and the car figured that out on its own...

The reason they came on in the first place could just be because the car lost power to those accessories, and thought there was a problem...something close to what Chibiblacksheep said is probably what happend...I would just drive it, and not worry about it unless the lights come on again.

I agree with the above. If it does it again you may have something on and drawing power.

figured as much. im shocked that the hazards killed the battery. everyone on the ls4 forum says that the delco battery is trash. i never really had an issue till then. just thought it odd.

Who's to say how full the battery was when you turned the car off.
