Default Bad Day For My 2006 MC SS

This morning, I went and started my 06 MC SS and got a message stating "Service Battery Charging System". The battery icon was lit up as well as the message. Drove right to the Chevrolet dealer and they ran it right in, reprogrammed the BCM per bulletin 06-06-03-006, and everything was great. Drove the car to work 55 miles away and then when I came out of work at lunch time, started it up and got a message to "Service Air Bag" and the air bag icon was lit up. Well, I drove it back home (55 miles), took it to the dealer again and the write up clerk (rather hot looking lady) came out and told me that they pulled 5 codes all for the passenger air bag and she would have to keep it for a day or so to figure it all out. They gave me a rental car (little Chevy Aveo) to drive. I sure hope this is not going to become a problem car since it only has 5800 miles on it.

Thanks for the concern SolaraSlayer. All is well with the world again being that I got my MC back this afternoon. Following scan showed these codes. B0081, U0100, B0081, B0081, B0277, U0155, and 40140. They reprogrammed the recalibrated the brake pedal position sensor and passanger side seat module. Hope that is all for a while.

To be truthful montejass, I was spellbound by the write up clerk. She was absoloutely knock dead gorgeous and I don't believe I heard a word she said to me. Guess I might have to call her and ask her those questions.

Worked for me being that she was my write up person for both my trips to the dealership and damned if I can remember what she said.

That's funny right there!
How much you wanna bet Greeny finds a problem with his car a couple times each month [sm=loveeyes.gif] 55 miles x 2 trips a month = A happy Greeny

Wow that does suck, the only one I ever get is "Low Tire Pressure", but I know why though.... Just another reason I need to re-flash the PCM

The wife would be questioning why my car spends so much time in the shop. Then I might have to start sleeping with one eye open.
