Default 98 z34 Tail Light / Turn Signal Problem

Hello, I just got a 98 z34, so I am new to the forum...

Earlier today I had to replace the tail lights (burned out). When I tested the blinkers, they blinked very fast and only the front worked...

Later I tried it and they quit working altogether. I also have no brake lights (rear running lights work though), and no hazard lights.
I checked all the fuses in the dash panel and they are all working.

Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be a flasher or something?

Thanks for your help!

it's most likely a bad multifunction switch, very common in those years.....

Is that something in the column? Sorry but I don't usually work on these newer cars. Lol
