Default 5th Gen Camaro Steering well on a 6th gen Monte ???

Hey, has anyone tried to put the steering wheel off of a new Camaro on THIER Monte ? I know the steering wheel controls won't work or the airbag, but I'm wondering if the spline is the same on both ...." If it will physically fit on the Monte.... If it does, I want to put one on mine, they are super sweet (I have a 5th gen Camaro) and love the feel, I bought new seats for my monte from a new Camaro, now I want to install the steering well... Thanks goes out in advance... Michael.....

I'm betting it'd fit, I know of guys using 08ish go wheels in their 00ish GPS. I have an 86 Monte ss wheel in my 97 Monte

Pretty sure all the splines are the same, was the same on my Vette wheel, which is also used in G6, cobalts, etc.

You prefer it? I actually prefer my Monte wheel with the wheelskin over the Camaro wheel haha.

I've actually been thinking about swapping my Camaro wheel for a ZL1 wheel.

I don't know... Just want something different, I love the feel of my Camaro wheel and have had the monte so long! I would make it feel like a diff car... Sorta fooling my tiny pea brain...lol.... Think I'll buy one and see if it fits, the wheel controls don't matter because of my aftermarket radio head unit anyway..... I'll let ya know...mjclemm...

you may even be able to adapt its controls to work with a pac-x controller and a modified harness

That would be AWSOME... I'm gonna try and do the airbag, but totally forgot about the PAC-X controllers... Wouldn't that be sweet?.... Thanks again for the idea.. Mjclemm..
