OK, it's not really a recall. GM classified it as a "Safety Campaign". Anyway, my 5th Gen always gave me grief when braking in wet conditions. I recently learned that in 2001 GM recognized there was a problem & offered to modify the front inner fenders free of charge to correct this problem. I called GM today to see if I was eligible for the repair. Based on my VIN # they said "nope". Well based on the fact that my car is suffering from the symptoms they listed I'm saying "yeah". So, is anybody out here knowledgeable about what the repair was to the fender well so I can do it myself? Thanks
