Default 5th gen auto lights

Hey everyone, i was wondering if there was a way to disable the auto light system on the 5th gen monte. It drives me up the wall as there is no way to turn off your lights besides having the parking brake on. So having just running lights on is no option. Anyone know of a way or am i just thinkin outside the box?

If you pull the DRL fuse, it will disable your DRL along with your automatic headlights.

If you want no DRL but still auto headlights, unplug the DRL module under the dash. This makes your lights come on when it gets dark, but you will have no lights on during the day.

Daytime Running lights reduce the risk of a getting in a crash by making your vehicle more visible. I don't know why anyone would want them off but it's your car.
