500 bucks for custom tune...

Default 500 bucks for custom tune...

does this seem about the going price for this. i dont have my own tuner im gonna have a dyno shop do it. any advice?

also if i would do this it would probably delete my dealer warranty would it not?

You can try talking to Will (getoverkilled.ca)

It's not the SAME as a dyno tune, but still a good deal for the money.

i know. the problem is i have no clue how to work it. i may just pay the damn 500 to get it done right.

Why not get the tuner and learn how to use it, there are tons of write ups on the internet and it isn't that huge of a deal. Besides, the shops don't know that much engine specific stuff. I doubt that many people are bringing in FWD 5.3 montes. Not to mention, then you can throw it on the dyno and tune it yourself if you want to.

Will is a very good bet.

Unless you are highly modified, I wouldn't worry about the money for a dyno tune.

I've had my Monte dyno tuned 4 times by ZZP and it's NEVER cost me over $170 with 3 pulls.

Where do you live? If you can go to ZZP do it. $500 is a rape.

I went with Will and I am very happy with it. Although... if I lived by zzp I would of had them tune it.
