2006 Monte Carlo SS Horn Troubles

Hello. I'm new to the forum here. As the title says, I have a '06 SS. I'm having trouble with the horn. It started several months ago when I heard a change in loudness of the horn. It became muffled. A few weeks ago it began 'sputtering' when I would use it until it finally made a sound like it burned out. It hasn't worked since. I'm wondering if any members here have had similar problems and what they would suggest? I've read a few places to check the relay but haven't been able to find it anywhere. Does this model even have one? Thanks for any help!

Did you check the horns because I had the horns on my 2005 monte & the horns on my wife's 2005 Impala ss go bad.

Turns out both of the horns went bad. One took awhile to follow the other. There are two different horns to this setup, a high note and low note. This is indicated by a letter on the plastic horn body itself. Both of them new off of eBay cost about $70 together. The connectors in the replacements are no good though, they don't fit. You'll have to buy your own, which is expensive, or make your own. I was able to get the connectors from Carquest for about $6. Just a couple wire cuts, splices, crimps, solder, and you'll be good to go. Feel free to post or message any questions. Thanks!
