2004 Monte Carlo SS Cranks wont start
Moving this from the general monte carlo talk thread. If this is redundant I apologize.
Purchased a 2004 Monte Carlo last Saturday. Drove 100 miles from Phoenix to Tucson
Drove Sunday no problem. Filled up gas added fuel additive Drove Monday no Problem.
Tuesday morning head to work get a half mile from house and stop at first stoplight and it dies. Cranks wont turn over. Tow it back to house.
I have no replaced Fuel pressure regulator,crank sensor, vacuum hose,alternator. No luck still cranks.
When I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump working. Cranked this morning. Took the nipple off the fuel pressure regulator there was some light pressure when I bled it then nothing.. Next step Fuel Pump? Mass Air Flow Sensor?
