2004 Key Fob programing issues

Default 2004 Key Fob programing issues


i am having issues trying to program a new key fob for my car.... i do NOT have factory radio installed which is the main issue, but i cannot find any instructions on how to get to program it otherwise. any help will be appreciated !!!!

Jerry:
What Brand and Model# after market alarm is it?
You should be able to google it...
If no one here knows how to program that type of alarm system...
I'm sure someone will chime in with some ideas.

im just trying to get replacement fob to work, and i dont have the factory radio anymore to re-install it to program it, otherwise i would.

the key fob is # 10443537

So this is for the factory alarm? and not an after market?

Found this video for you try this and see if it works!

Sorry that one didn't work.
Lets not give up..theres more than one way to program a remote... I will keep searching for you! When I find another ..I will post it for you! In the mean time..Maybe someone else will chime in with other ideas!

If you don't have the factory installed radio the only other way I'm aware of to program a FOB is with a Tech II scan tool.

thanks for the input on this.... i just went on ebay and picked up another factory radio for $30 , so i'm just gonna swap it in order to program the key fob, then i'll throw my kenwood back in. was a lot cheaper than going to the dealer or locksmith

You could have also possibly gone to an auto accessory shop and had them do it for less... Just a thought...

Heres the Tech II scan tool by pass to reprogram the remote!
with using a single jumper wire from #4 to #8 on the odb2 plug in..
it puts it into program mode! Wohoo!
(Its on a 2004 buick) should be the same process on your 2004 Monte Carlo.
