I have 1 OEM fob and 1 aftermarket fob, they just stopped working a few days ago. None of the buttons work at all, when you push them, there are no noises of any kind. The locks still work fine inside the car, it's just the key fobs that aren't working.

Any ideas? I have already tried to resync them but that didn't help. I checked fuses and they appear to be fine. Is there a module somewhere that I can try to reset, or just check out?

do u have the stock radio in the car? are the battries in the FOB good? i got one out of a boneyard and reprogrammed it and it works fine no problems. i did have to change the battery in the new/old FOB. if u have aftermarket tunes in the car u have a trip to mr goodwrench to program it.

 

Nah it's the stock radio still. Both of them worked fine, then one day, both of them didn't work. Although it was coincidental, I did try new batteries and I also tried reprogramming both of the fobs. Gut feeling says that it's not the fobs, but something in the car... Thanks for the reply!

 

Anybody know where the module is located on the car for the fobs?

 

From what I can tell, it is in the top part of the dash.
