Yeah, you can use anything on the IAC, it's not as delicate as the MAF.

Bumping this thread with a question.

Are the Oxygen Sensors before and after the CAT heated or non?
I ask because on Amazon some are advertised as heated and some are not, and I am confused at to what is factory for these years? (04 Supercharged)

That's a good question!

Here's the exact one I purchased for my car.

Amazon.com: ACDelco AFS109 Oxygen Sensor: Automotive

I don't get it.
Amazon's "Make sure it fits your car" says it doesn't fit my Monte Carlo.
Unless that's a computer error, I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I think i'll go in person and pick one up from NAPA this Saturday.

Should I unplug the battery while I remove and clean the IAC and MAF sensors?
I know I have the faulty MAF sensor light, along with the o2 sensor.

I always disconnect the negative terminal when I work with electronics and sensors.

Also you want the PCM to relearn readings from those sensors, so leave it d/ced for at least an hour.

Update

Clean both MAF & IAC sensors and still have rough idling, stalling.
I've replaced the MAF sensor before and the code still came back.

It may also be the tranny because its starting to shift very bad, hard shifting.

A bad MAF can cause harsh shifts
