hello does anyome have a wiring schematic for a temp sending unit gauge is pegged out low

I don't think these models have an actual sending unit. There is an engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) mounted directly underneath the thermostat housing that sends signals to the PCM, which in turn sends signals to the gauge.

The ECT has only 2 wires: a signal and a ground, and they both go directly to the PCM.

thank you I must hav a shorted ground wire because I have 5 volts at sensor do you know where ecm is located I havent got that far yet

The PCM is located in your air breather box, under the filter, just pull everything out and it will be sitting at the bottom

hello pulled outecm and ohmed out wiring to temp sensor wires checked out good i suspect ecm is bad any ideas i also replaced sensor under therm hsg

It may be a bad stepper motor in the gauge..

stepper motor for gauges? never heard of it is it behind dash? how do you test it thanks
