Default 2001 SS Starting and Turn Signal Problem

I have a 2001 Monte SS which recently is showing a couple problems. The first was the turn signals stop working or don't activate once in awhile. I'm guessing the flasher or switch, hoping for the later but would take any thoughts as I haven't worked on this car much.

The second started a few weeks ago. The engine is hard to start (does alot of cranking) and when it does it often dies. Once it's running it seems to be fine

thanks

Turn signal could be the multi-function switch yes.

I did some more digging online and found that the FPR can be a common cause on the 3800. I pulled the vaccum line off and ran it. Didn't see any fuel coming out of it so the diaphram is probably good. I then pulled the return line off and just flipped the key to on for a second(engine was off). Fuel shot right out of the return. Should the FPR be closed when there is no vac from the engine? It seems I've been told that in the past but wanted to confirm. If the FPR is leaving fuel go by and dropping pressure it would definitely explain the hard start.

the problem with your turn signal is the hazard switch. go to the dealer and get the whole switch assembly for like 50 dollars and problem solved.

Default Hazard Switch

I was out of town but got a switch on order and I replaced the FPR before I left. No problems starting since the replacement. We'll see if it holds. Thanks for the tips!!
