My egr valve has been throwing codes on my monte. It had set since the summer and finally got it fixed from overheatng with a water pump and headgasket. My friend told me I had some antifreeze leak into headgasket previously. Once driving home going up small hills around 60mph and 2600 ton2800 on tach it jolts. Almost like a sputtering for gas or out of time. It ran fine before just overheated
O'Reillys told me the screw in my egr valve where the vacuum hose would go had thrown like 18 codes that won't clear.... can surgical tubing and small hose clamp be used to replace vacuum line? The end the vacuum line crimped to snapped off in the line.
Trying to do a cheap fix for time being until I get all my taxes paid back in for the bs of not having medical insurance. Any ideas and thoughts would help and be appreciated
