I have had this happen to me, I kept switching the directional ****, vents to floor and to defrost, back to vents and so on. It sounds like there is a little motor switching around the direction of the a/c or heat output. It fixed it for me, one must have been stuck or something. I'm not an expert, but sounded like a familiar problem I had. Good luck!

if your motor only works speed five, your resistor pack is bad. as for the blend door. your module could be ad and not turning the door, or door is stuck

More than likely the blower motor has wore out the brushes and you need a new blower motor. Very easy to fix. behind the glove box and accessable from under the dash. Just remove the kick panel where the floor board light is. Unplug the wire from the motor and remove three screws.
