1982 Chevy
I have a question. I have a 1982 Monte Carlo. I am wondering if I could install the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor some where else beside on top of the Thermostat Cover Housing? The reason being is because I have two holes on top one for the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (assuming)
and the second hole on top is for the Thermal Vacuum Switches (TVS that has two vacuum lines on it). I am replacing the intake manifold from the original 267 intake to a new one without the egr and other vacuums that goes along with it. If I could re-route the Coolant Temperature Sensor that would be great then I could put a chrome Thermostat housing on it. If not I will have to plug that one hole up with a bolt and just use the other hole for the Engine coolant temperature sensor. Assuming that is what goes there on top where the housing is at.
