I've had my 07 SS for about 3 years and never had anything major due to proper maintenance but recently its been overheating and going into limp mode. I changed the thermostat and the radiator fans are working properly. For some reason it only happens when I'm in first gear or going very slowly. (When going slowly is when it heats the fastest) But for some odd reason when its overheating and I get on the expressway and give it some gas it stabilizes and I wont have the issue. I have no leaks but when it overheats the coolant reservoir leaks from the one of the access bypass hoses on the drivers side near the drivers side front tire. If anyone has had this issue please lend a hand Thank in advance

 

Sounds like a bad waterpump
