Replaced EGR Valve
Replaced Purge Solenoid near EGR Unit
Replaced Gas Cap
Have New Charcoal Canister
Awaiting P/N 20941985 - Vent Valve
Awaiting P/N 19257603 - Harness for New Vent Valve
Will someone who has successfully replaced the Charcoal Canister and the updated Vent Valve w/ Harness please provide me with whatever helpful information you can share with me regarding restoring the Emissions Syst. to functioning properly.
What I really need is the procedure for removal and replacing Charcoal Canister and related Vent Valve.
Reference material.
Manual having illustrated Instructions.
Advice from the Monte Forum Membership.
Tip, tricks and any photos or videos showing how to do the job.

You can get away with just releasing the fuel tank strap on the drivers side and letting it sag down. You can release the strap with a screwdriver. I had an 01 LS with that code. I replaced pretty much everything you're doing and nothing fixed it. A buddy of mine was able to bring home a GM Tech 2 for me, and it ended up being the fuel pump! The car had no issues starting or drivability issues... I would've never guessed.
