Default 02 Monte Carlo ss won't start, what could it be?

I recently got a oil change and top off last night. Before going inside I sat in the car for a few minutes. I had the car off but radio still on, I got hot and tried to roll the windows down. While rolling them down my lights were blinking, so I decided to turn the car off and turn it back on. It came back on fine so I got out and went in the house. This morning I was on my way to work & my lights came on but it wouldn't turn over. So I got a jump from a Lexus truck and it still wouldn't start. Now nothing would come on no lights not even when I keep the key in the ignition. HELP HELP HELP

How old is the battery? Sometimes they just go and they need to be replaced. I would try that first.

It could be the crankshaft position sensor that happened to me a few months ago, car started fine but stalled on the way to work and the starter turned over but would not start. Had it towed to a local shop and they found out it was either the crankshaft position or the ignition module. They tried changing the ignition control module first but still no start. They changed the crankshaft position sensor and that fixed it! Not easy to change yourself as you need to get a puller to take the harmonic balancer off of the crankshaft.
