I'm seeing isolated thunderstorms, so who knows. Isolated is better than scattered thunderstorms which is better than straight up rain. Temp is right around 75 for Saturday.

I figure Ill be hitting some sort of rain on the way regardless. May change in the next day or two anyway.

 

Will be there rain or shine.... I have to put some elbow grease on the Deuce. Had to wait to wax her because of the new paint. Will start on her after work tonight.

She basically has no wax on her at all now

 

3 more days, so just a reminder that we'll be meeting in Ann Arbor and caravaning from there to the Meet in Charlotte. Plan to meet at Tim Horton's (address and map below) at 8:30am and be on our way to the Meet by 9am.

I'd really like to get wax on mine before the Meet, and my best shot is Friday after work. I ordered new bottles Mother's California Gold three step system ($43 total ), and have them now, but I really want to run a clay bar over the car first. That means I've got probably 4 hours (at least) of work ahead of me just between clay baring and waxing all three steps and I don't know if I'll have time for it Friday. Might save all that for another weekend where I can wash the car first thing in the morning and spend the rest of the day waxing.

 

I clay bared mine where the new clear-coat wasn't; I am also using the Mother's 3 step system (lots of work for sure)

 

well they say if you don't like the weather in MI wait 10 min. and it will change

Now Saturday out look is mostly sunny high 68 koool glad I decided to give the Deuce the Mother's 3 step and clay bar now.... almost done

 

I'll be there between 9 and 10. I'm hoping to get the rear pavilion still, and give up the front one. Less traffic.
LadyT won't be coming this time. She's got a party to go to in Mason or somewhere that way.
WAX! What's that? No wax right now for me. I'm just happy to be driving it right now. It'll be clean. That's about it for me.
