Well at least theres two of us in Southern Maryland...lets see who else comes out of the woods...

It was a great day out today and would have taken my 85 to work, but rear ends apart and I am changing out my rear carrier. Hope to have her back together soon.

 

I'm in, I've met with Bambi before, definitely wouldn't mind again, bump.

 

Cool, another cruiser! Now if the weather would just make up its mind we would be all set.

Well, I did finish changing out my rear carrier, so I am back on the road again and set anytime. Thinking about cruising by the Charlotte Hall show this Sunday, (Not going to enter since I dont want to hang out there all day). Maybe some others would want to meet up there later in the afternoon at a nearby area in the lot...

 

I was there! Wish I had seen you might have gone. My fiance and I were there from about 10 in the morning to about 5 that evening. I'm thinking about entering my car in the Leonardtown show this coming weekend, just gotta get Ol' Red all cleaned up first if this weather cooperates!

 

We ended up going to MIR's Test and Tune and Swap Meet on the same day. Took my 85 there and ran her down a few times then watched others for a while as well. By the time we got out of there and ran some errands it was to late. I will check out the pic's.

Was thinking of doing same for leonardtown, but bring my 85, however promised to help my father out fixing a van he is trying to sell.

If I only help him out on Saturday and don't stay down we may cruize up.

By the way, I joined up with the East Coast Pro Streets Car Club last year and they just opened up a new division called Modern Muscle which is for 88 and newer vehicles. You may want to check it out. Here is the link...(My 85 is in thier Hot Rod Division)

Thanks! Didn't win anything, didn't get my hopes up since it was my first real big show. But Ol' Red did get a lot more attention than I though he would there are pictures posted on my facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...2641303&type=3; as well as other car shows. Oh and I have another guy that is up for joining us if and when we ever meet up or do a cruise. His name is Bobby, I've known him for about 6 or so years now and he has an 85 Monte.

 

I just got wind of a small local car show coming to California, MD on June 23, 2012 starting at around 10:00 am till 3 or 4 pm. It is one that Food Lion used to run, but now will be handled by Advance Auto. One of the managers at Food Lion I know told me and I confirmed it with Advance this afternoon. They will be getting flyers out this weekend. May want to share with the other members and we may get a few down there. If I am not mistaken its for the Children’s Miracle Network.

 

Or maybe get a small gathering before then.
