Shows in WI??
Actually thumpin that sounds like a plan. I'll have to see where fox valley is in relation to me but if yoe place your fingrer right where Illinios/wisconsin and lake michigan meet ...well thats me. we have several within a couple hour here (awsomeSS /silver bullet) and a few in Wisconsin. Here in Zion we have a large two and a half day event called nastalgia days around the third weekend of june. carnival/ judging in tons of classes /venders/swap meets lawn mower races and pulls and at the end saturday eve they shut down the main street (4 lanes x 3 miles) for a cruize where they do open hydrants for those who wish to heat up tires, its the 24th year and honestly two to three hundred of the most beutiful cars old and new to muscle and rat rods. We should plan on getting together the Montes and mix . google "zion Illinios 2009 nastalgia days and check out all the pics and save it for the 2010 regestraition. I'm hoping to have my engine complete by then and possible get a trunk panel in the beast. Ryan AKA silver bullet will def be here and he keeps a handle of shows near chi town. check it outand give some feed back, I trust you wouldnt mind our cars hanging out....Jarhead
I help judge Black Dog car shows and he has a bunch of shows up in my area - Lake & McHenry County. I just live about 30 minutes from the border so I will be up for meeting up at some shows next year.
SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN. Bummer we have an entire season of snow, slush and salty roads till the fun starts. (4 those south of the mason------ snow=chilled/frozen H20) BRR! Of course theres always snow mobiles and atv's skiing and snow castles..........
check out black dog shows on the web and it appears we need to head down your wat there awsome. culvers up here place host each week, others saw thier success they had and tryed to bring in the cars but it just didn't work, I believe everyone saw it for what is was to them which was simply to draw the cash with no true intrest in the cars or thier owners...just $$$$$$$$$ lets plan on it Jarhead
