.....Well I made it to another car show today. IT WAS VERY HOT !
I had a good time but no trophy.... this time. A SSR and a 07 Vette and Yes, finally , another 6th gen. Monte Carlo beat me.
The other MC was a 04 Intimidator with only 7,500mi. on it. The dash board had been signed by Kerry & Taylor Earnhardt !
The owners ( Jeff ? and Pam ) plan on going to DEI and get other's from the Earnhardt family to sign it.
Glad to be back in the cool A/C.......

The way the owners explained it to me: They have received an
invitation to come again and they will try to get even Mama Earnhardt ( Dale's Mom ) to sign it . Wow !

 

this sounds kinda stupid, but I purchased a couple things from DEI and the lady there had to give me a call back to verify my credit card. I didn't get the call, so she left a message and I called back and spoke to her to get my order straight and we spoke for a little while and she was very cool, and she also told me that she spoke with Dale SR a few times, it was kinda neat and I still have the message saved to my phone, I know I'm a dork but I thought it was cool. ok, I'm done rambling

 

.....The woman that's reading the book up in the left hand corner is the one who owns the 2007 Corvette Z06. It's yellow with a black stripe down the center of it. Nice car. She has won a trophy 3 weeks in row. I came in second last week in our class behind her.
She's not real friendly either.....

I don't understand the people who take their cars to shows and aren't very friendly! I went to the monte nats and a guy there said that the owner of an 04 Dale Jr was the same way why attend if you are only there to get a trophy? I would rather talk to people and not get a trophy, if it was up to me.....
