The Wizarding World of Harry Potter IS NOW OPEN at Universal's Islands of Adventure! The following video is from them about the ride (and although Universal is not affilliated with TouristFlorida.com, I tend to visit this park frequently.)
Next door also visit Universal Studios relatively new and exciting Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit which goes 65 mph, and starts off on a completely vertical 17 story rise and shoots you through buildings and a loop where you don't go upside-down! See the link and click on "TRICKS" for the amazing computer graphics videos of this incredible roller-coaster loops and turns.

The new Manta coaster at Sea World seats rotate horizontally to put riders in face-down position, with thrilling near-miss passes and multiple loops.
Check out The Simpsons Ride at Universal Studios Orlando.
Aquatica - SeaWorld's Water Park has walk around animal attractions, dolphins, an aviary, and rides like Dolphin Plunge, innertube rides, white water rapids, water slides, giant wave pool, aquariums, restaurants, stores and more!
Busch Gardens (in Tampa) opened its kid-friendly Jungala attraction with new rides and new walk around animal habitats and it's SheiKra roller coaster is now floorless, carrying riders up 200 feet and then hurtling them 70 mph straight down at a 90-degree angle. SheiKra is the first of its kind to incorporate an Immelmann loop (a rolling maneuver), a second, 138-foot dive into an underground tunnel and a water-feature finale. With more than half a mile of steel track, SheiKra offers a total ride time of just over three minutes.

A tip from TouristFlorida.com:
You might consider bringing cheap plastic rain-ponchos (usually $1 in the dollar stores) during the rainy season (summer) because ponchos in the theme parks are typically more than $5 each.

Tony,
This is a merged event however usually the NMCOA joins a judged show that already has judging and a paid entrance fee.
Old-Town does not have that and they also do not have a judged show its more like a Cruise-In.
It has become obvious that a judged event with trophys draws a larger crowd. Old-Town is more than accommodating to this fact and allows individual clubs to hold their own "shows".
The small $15 fee is just to cover the cost of the trophys and any other activities we chose to organize during the show.
This is open to all NMCOA members as well as non-members so if anyone wants to come for the show and not become a member that it fine and will be welcomed no strings attached.
I assume since you have shown such interest in this you are planning to attend?
It would be great finally meet you in person.
