I hear you on that, but I need to get it running and a couple other things, also would need atleast a 1 night stay along the way before or after for me.....

My plan that I haven't decided to go through with is to kind of take my time getting there on Saturday... leaving really early in the morning, like 6 a.m. in hopes of being in New York around 6 p.m. Anyone know of any good motels with good rates in the area? I contacted Joe on Friday? and I haven't heard back... don't know where he is styaing yet. I would run the track with you, try to eat lunch with you as well, and then haul the mail on the way back to Carolina and try to be back in time to teach on Monday a.m.... what time do you guys normally get out of the track?

We get to the track about 10am so we get on it pretty early, usually eating around noon.

joe is staying at the Watkins Glen harbor Hotel.
but if you go to the racetrack website, they have recoomendations for hotels in the area as well.
