Monte Carlo Nationals 2010
yeah i clay barred mine today. havent seen her in the sun yet though so i dont how much of a difference it made but the clay had TONS of dirt & what not on it so i'm sure it helped at least a lil bit & the monte is hella smooth!!!! =)
Chris, it doesn't take that long to clay bar our cars. Feel the surface and if it feels rough/gritty then that area needs clay bar. The whole car doesn't necessarily need to be clay bared. Places to look out for is the hood, decklid, roof, and back. Keep the surface lubricated with quick detail spray and keep kneading the clay. Oh and if you drop it on the ground, throw it away immediately. And you only need a small piece at a time. I have a bar that has lasted a couple of years.
We need to to keep some kind of list who is coming. I will be there for sure.

Representing the 6th and 7th generations.

Already got the room. (since last july)
Already registered the cars.
One 2003 Pace car.
One 2006 LTZ.
If I could find another driver I'd bring my '86 LS to the Nats.
(Of course I'm the one who's going to be behind the wheel of my '86?)
cool, I just got my monte national membership packet in the mail, still debating on going to the nationals in June!
edit: RJ, I'll drive the LTZ for you?
