I made it home..... 7.5 hours and a flat tire Kinda dissapointed but it was a good experience!

 

That sucks Brad! I kinda got lost around the IL/IN border - I was looking to take the tollway 294 but ended on the freakin skyway so I got stuck in Downtown Chicago traffic. Oh well, I made it home in one piece too.

 

yeah it was a rough ride home.... then the trunk was having a hard time shifting and yeah.... just was not good. Congrats on your trophy though!

 

Brad, sorry to hear about the bad luck on the way home.

We stopped for some lunch at a Wendy's in Brookville, OH on the way home. I over heard people talking about our cars setting outside. One man was talking about the hood bra on the Pace car.

It did pour an hour or so after we got home. Both the '86 and '03 Montes were setting out.
So we got the fun of drying both cars off before they could go inside.

Not sure if I can make it to the 2011 Nationals or not? A trailor would come in handy. But then I'd need something to pull the trailor with.

 

I lucked out and didn't run into any rain. But when I got lost I ended up off of the highway driving around Hammond IN and it looked like they got slammed with rain cause there were a lot of puddles - some of which I couldn't avoid driving though - I drove past a BP refinery and the Horseshoe Casino LOL!!!!

 

wish i would of attend this one cuz next year would be too far to drive. that's cool that all you guys/girls have fun. so who all took home the trophy and what place you got?
