You can put me down to bring some pop. I really don't want to bring anything that needs refrigerated or has a leak hazard on a drive that long. :(
But I'm still planning to make the trip Saturday! Gonna be an early morning and by the looks of things, my location is calling for rain, go figure! |
Wow it's 5 hours away from me, but I'm tempted to attend. My poor Monte isnt a show car but more of a survivor barley hanging on for deer life, I wanna take it to one Monte meet before it finally gives out which I'm especting it's gonna be sometime this year. I'm going to a job site in gary Indiana in the morning pending how I feel I might just come join you guys for a bite or two.
Ps. Anyone got fishing poles? I wanna learn fishing and seeing the park has a giant lake Im hopping someone can show me a thing or two on how to fish. |

If all goes to plan, this is the 3rd time I've driven to Michigan to meet up with this group at a Monte meet. It's about a 3-4 hour drive. The GM Nationals in Carlisle PA is a 6 hour drive. Lots of seat time lol (but nothing compared to your seat time coming to the GM Nationals from Utah).
It's good to go to these meets and actually put faces to the cars :) |
Just an FYI:
- I plan to bring my PCM tuning gear. If anyone is interested in PCM adjustments I offer in the thread below, I do the job for $40 (since I don't have to ship a PCM back). https://montecarloforum.com/forum/pr...-3100-a-42773/ - If anyone is interested in items I have listed in the for sale thread below, let me know, I'll bring them with me and shave a couple bucks off since I don't have to ship them: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/pr...ls-more-43701/ |
**PLEASE ADVISE** - THE SPRING MEET IS BACK ON FOR TOMORROW, SATURDAY MAY 30TH, AS ORIGINALLY PLANNED - 10AM AT KENSINGTON METROPARK!
Tomorrow now appears to be the warmer, better day weather-wise even though a chance of rain is still in the forecast. We have two awards to hand out to the top two cars as voted on by those attending, food/drinks and t-shirts will be available. Please let us know if you will be there tomorrow - we hope to see you there! |
Made it back to Milwaukee last night. Drove thru rain, sometimes really heavy. It was great to meet everyone and I look forward to the next one!

When I re-entered Ohio, the rain REALLY ramped up. I think Noah passed me on an Arc lol.
Seriously, there was some rain of biblical proportions coming down, storm drains on part of the freeway could not keep up and I was very happy I did NOT get stranded going through some monster puddles. I was very happy to make it safely home. |
