to Georgia the Intimidators Twin meets Montelicious
While in Tennessee I (drivernumber3) finally got a chance to go some place, took a little Stroll down to Georgia (4 to 5 hours) and was able to meet up with Lisa aka.. Montelicious and her Beautiful Black Monte Carlo she calls the "Black Rose". In Honor of her late Mother. This car is a total tribute to her Mom, I believe she loved her so very much. This is quite the ride. Nearly all the photo's I have are of me and the Car. I wore my special Red Dale E. Shirt. I wore it to Bowling Green also. These photo's are of me standing with the Black Rose Monte Carlo.
Anyway attached are some photos. Some cool feature of this car I liked especially was the..... Hotwheels emblem on the fender, the interior is absolutely stunning, that must have taken a ton of hours to complete, the front Grill, and the hood louvers. So check them out. These were taken right after the Chattanooga incident so the flags are at half staff.
During my short 60 day stay in Tennessee I met such nice people. But every weekend I wanted to make a trip to see something. So every Saturday morning about 5:AM a thunder storm would hit, crashing outside the Hotel sounded like your Cat got into the Pots and Pan drawer. Then it would Rain and Rain so hard you couldn't see nothing til about 11:AM by that time I lost the idea of traveling anywhere cause I didn't want to be in the Heavy Rains.

The photos here are showing some of the special features of this car. The hood louvers, the red trim on the wheels, the front Grill and the interior. Note: When looking in the rear view mirror you see the Bowtie on the head rest. Kool......

Was great meeting you and I am very flattered that you drove all that way just to see The Black Rose . Next time hopefully it won't be so hot lol. I have a few road trips planned myself.

Yeah that was fun!
It is always inspiring to see what every one else works on. Getting the opportunity to go to Bowling Green and meeting all the folks from the Forum, and a bunch of people that were there to display there fine Monte Carlo's and seeing the "Pride in the Ride" that they all have and you have. That's just great. If you look at the one photo where I am pointing my wristwatch color coordinates with the wheels.
So I been home here for a couple of weeks and every time I try to work on the Monte when my wife is home, I get where are you going. You spend way to much time on that thing, and its not worth any thing any way. One of these times I am going to say my girlfriends and see what she says??
However while she was at work I did score a new used leather interior for my Monte and found out that if you need to move a power seat in a salvaged car you can use a 9 volt battery, hook it up direct and it will move it. Took 3 of them to liberate the seat.
Anyway the interior was near flawless never thought I would get that type of score. Plus it was reasonable too. I was able to install most of it. Got a few more upgrades I want to make. So I can save up for that.
On my trip back to Tennessee I found a flea market and picked up a few diecast cars, nice ones, the good action brand with the #3 on it, so that was a good deal. Almost missed the thing when I saw it I had to throw the Cruze into a slide and go back.
