I'm in. I'm one of them "Downriver-rats", so I'm in the area.

 

you guys wanna get something going? monte man, are they having the telegraph/downriver cruise this year?

 

Yeah, cruise is still on for June 30th and it's also on Fort St. Before you get your panties in a bunch about the construction, I believe what will happen is that they will finish the first half, and will hold the second half until after the cruise. I cannot believe that they would hold the cruise on 2 lanes of roadway on it's main stretch.

For those of you who don't know, Fort St from pennsylvania north all the way to goddard is being completely redone with estimated completion of the project to be summer of next year. It's hell with just regular traffic, I couldn't imagine what it would be like if all 3 or 4 lanes weren't open for the cruise.

At any rate, If anybody wanted to get together, the Southgate Mc Donalds on Fort between Pennsylvania and Eureka has a car show every wednesday night. It wouldn't be a bad place to meet up for a bit.

 

I am also downriver...its my understanding that there not haveing the downriver cruise do to all the construction.....


I would like to do a meet and greet (cruise) on june 16th...however I will be at Michigan International Speedway that week for the races...

after that im free til august...

Downriver Cruise is on Saturday, June 30th. Their website says the cruise IS happening this year, like MonteMan mentioned, so if we wanted to meet during the Downriver Cruise that would be cool. I went last year and had a good time. Saw lots of Montes, all generations.

Jackson Road Cruise is on Saturday, July 14th in Ann Arbor. I have an earlier thread about this one. Since this is very local for me, I'm trying to get a group together for this cruise.

Telegraph Cruise is on Saturday, July 28th

Woodward Dream Cruise is on Saturday, August 18th

Any or all of these would work for meeting up. I'm going to try to make all of these this year.

i personality wouldn't be down to race...just cruise n show... but would be happy to watch lol
