Cars Deluxe in the water gap 2010 -- NE PA/ NJ
yes, as the title says this thread is to announce the Cars Deluxe in the Water Gap car show that the car club im in puts on every year. last year i met up with member chris ( montecarlo3831) who drove out from pittsburg and attended the show for the first time for both of us, and we both had a great time. its not a huge show, and definitly not monte carlo specific, but pretty much anything with wheels can be entered, and there is enough to do to stay occupied for the day, and there are a ton of trophie classes, although the classes are being revised for this year.

yes, i know thats quite a way down the road, but i wanted to let anyone know when its gonna be, scince i know at least a couple of people were possibly interested in attending. the more, the merryer
IDK much of the specifics yet, they are still being worked out, but i will keep this thread updated as soon as i get any information.
hopefully i will have my buick on the road by then, along with the monte, and i hope to see some of you guys there

yep, I was there, had a great time, met a cool MCF member and his dad who has some pretty cool car stories! I will do it again, maybe not this year but who knows, I might?

heres a lil more info i pulled from a google link... pretty much the same as last year, only differance would be a possible revision on the trophie classes that would not likely affect any class any of our cars would fall under.
Held in conjunction with the Borough of Delaware Water Gap's Founder's Day Celebration, "Cars in the Water Gap" (Sat., June 26, 2010) is open to unique vehicles of all eras with 20+ classes of vehicles. Best of Show Awards for the Best Street Rod/Custom, and Best Original/Restoration. "Goodies" bags and dash plaques will be given to the first 150 registrants. Proceeds of the event will benefit the restoration of the historic Delaware Water Gap Railroad Station and other worthy regional causes. A steam excursion train from Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton PA (www.nps.gov/stea/) will arrive at the station/show site at 12:00 noon. Additional activities around the borough include a firehouse pancake breakfast, art and crafts shows, live music, great food, auto flea market, auto-related vendors, and a free roving trolley running throughout the town.
