I have gone many years as a spectator, last year was my first year actually in the show, and well i will never go as just a spectator again,

This is a 3 day event, i can garentee you will see somthing you missed the day befor!

I don't care if i had the biggest pos lets say my old merc mystake! No exhuast, different colored bumper, steeles, 2 diff sized tires, rusty, bad clutch dented but i would register it,

If it's a pos, Drive in find the people i would be chilling with drop off my chairs, cooler ect and go park it in the boonies!
When you register you get a goody bag, 2 wrist bands so you can bring a wife/Girlfriend/husband/Boyfriend/hot date,/budy/whatever,

I had a blast the 2 days i went last year, didn't pre register which i regret,
Work the friday it started and stayed up all night getting ready, washed, buffed the car(got done about 2:30AM), went to the store and got food and drinks to keep me fed! (Save your self money and bring food/drinks in)(3am) got everything packed up, got my son ready and headed down at 5am to get in line for the gates, i was a good 2 miles from the front!

Hit up Harmar mall afterwords(north on snelling)
Saturday night there is a big meet in the downtown sears parking lot, you may be able to go hit some local races!

Just go see some stuff you never would expect to see! Hang out with felow car guys/gals
Watch autocross, burnout contest! And a number of things!

Ahhhh I really really wanna go to this! I'm only 2 hours away and it sounds really exciting! My head is reeling with ideas to make this work for me! Maybe I could even bring my friend and his '69 Chevelle? I really want to go to this!

 

Yes you need to go its an awesome experience! Your buddy wont have a problem fitting it . Just make sure you pre register and reserve a near by hotel ahead of time (like in the next month) If ya cant find someone to come with you could always find one of us from Iowa that you could roll with
