So, where are the Monte Nats going to be next year?

That's 407 miles due North of where I'm moving to in Tennessee. So there's a very good chance I will be there next year.

 

Then I could have used the story I use back home. I have de-badged the Monte I own and when I go to a show they ask if it's a Camaro and other stuff. Then I have this great story I tell them how it's a Prototype of the Intimidator Concept Car, I heard this one once an the guy was pretty convincing some times they eat it right up.

Just a bit disappointed I thought maybe I would run over to North Carolina and check out the RCR, DEI, and Dale Chevy.
Man they have really reduced hours??
It would appear that if you can't go during the week you won't see it.
I hate to drive 340 miles just to look in the window, however it may freak them if they review the security camera footage when they get back. I have no problem with them taking the Holiday off for the 4th of July, but the hours at the RCR museum were like 10 to noon or so and it wouldn't pay to walk around and turn the Lights on for that. Time you got the first switch turned on and went on to get the rest it's time to close and go home.
That was on the Bucket list, but it doesn't look like I will be able to make it work. Maybe they will have a virtual tour, online or something? What is it Captain Kirk said? Say-La-Vee.

 

It would be worth it just for the security footage. They'd be like hey guys you ain't gonna believe this!

 

Yeah the reactions on the security peoples faces would have been PRICELESS!!!!

 

They have a huge parking lot there.......


Just sucks though because I have to pretty much beg the boss to get the days off for it because now it is always our end of month/end of quarter when it happens. I think I still owe him for the last 2 I attended......

 

Beg him. Again. Lol. You would be giving him a years notice that you need the days off...lol
