I'll call the guy that is running the show tomorrow - if it's spotty showers I will still probably go but I will drive the Silver car. Scott, I don't think you ever saw the red car in person. Hopefully next weekend will be better - on Sat at Palatine Sonic on Rand Road and Sunday Buffalo Grove Culvers - Rt 83 & BG road.

I had the red car at the Steak and Shake 3 years ago. No you don't have to be there right at 9am - registration closes at noon. I won't be there until later - gotta go to the DMV this morning to get my new plate sticker.

wish the show is on sunday cuz i want to meet up with you guys. my friends and i already making plan to head out to bryron in one hour. suppose to be a chance of rain at the track. i hope not cuz i want to get at least a few passes.

Hard to believe that was 3 years ago ... and attendance dropped considerably after that first year. Unless things change this year, this will be the last year I even attempt to get people together....course, I've said that before. I'm a sucker, I guess, since, for me, it's about the people and the friendships that develop from meeting in person, etc.

Update - the Sonic Palatine shows has been rescheduled to Sunday July 10 and the Culvers BG has been rescheduled to Sunday Aug 7th. I guess that's what you get when you start the car show season too early. Weather here in Chicagoland is too unpredictable in early May.
