I'm looking at a change of venue. My folks just bought a house in phoenix/Tolleson area. Please tell me there's a hand full of you guys there:confused:
whats the auto scene like, and so on?

wow, 10 months no reply.
There are alot of montes here but not much other than rims and maybe an exhaust system.
Alot of women drive montes i noticed.

well this my first post here But i just brought a 2002 monte carlo yesterday for 500 $ got lucky? lol but i live in Phoenix area We should all meet up sometime:D

I actually just got an apartment off of Bell. I may have gotten a job finally and I should be out and about after I get settled. My cars going to need a major detailing job after this.

Thanks, No this place is called Avalon Hills off Bell and 35th. Ive gone to the Scottsdale show a few times. its a great time. good people. But no Montys though. Im down to get the AZ owners together. I think i know where you're talking about.

yeah where were staying off of Bell rd. There's a gas station on the one corner & a golf cart sales place on the other corner. If your going towards Grand Ave. You make a left between them and go down 1/2 mile. And the place will be on your left. yeah the Scottsdale show is cool. If your talking about the one in the Mc Donald's aparking lot ? You can E mail me @ redwhitess1@yahoo.com Anytime. So maybe we can hook up when I get down there. See if you can get a few more AZ members to do the same :thumbsup: Did you ever make the cruise inn at the K mart down near you on I think it's friday nights ? I didnt realize the get together at the k-mart you talked about was a full blown car show! I drove though the parking lot last night on my way to a bar. I'll have to hit it up next weekend.

Briefly swung by the 67th Ave & Bell show at about 6pm yesterday. No Montes there except my own. :(

I was there... for a long time too. Got there a little after 4 and didn't leave till 8. I was parked in the same lane as the dj. The ghostbuster's car wound up parking next to me later that night. Did you have the silver 87? I was trying to find the owner of that one.

That's so odd that I missed you. I must be blind. I have a completely boring (unmodified) white '06 Monte LT. Is that show every Friday?

The open on 67th and bell is every Saturday. It really gets going around 5 in the evening. I think I'll be there this weekend but my cars in the shop and I'll have the mustang:(

It's every Friday and Saturday now. I wont be able to make it this Friday, but baring any unforeseens, I plan on being there Saturday.

Friday also? Same place? I wont be able to make a friday show because of work. I will be there saturday night though.

Sorry I missed ya Tom. I was most likely out about talking with people. I did meet Pnuema and another guy that just bought a Yellow 02. I invited him to create an aco**** here so we can all start making plans. Also missed another opportunity to find the guy with the silver 87. Saw him pulling in, but by the time I found where he parked, he was gone.

I might be coming to Phoenix this summer. Be cool to hook up with a few Monte owners. I lived in Mesa from 83 to 92 then moved up here to Utah. My brother still lives there and told him I might slip down there and say hey.

I may be able to show up occasionally. I've been going to the 67th & Bell show about every other week.

I havn't made it out to the Mixteca show in a while. But I am thinking I'll go on Friday. Got a show at Sanderson Ford on Saturday if anybody wants to meet up at either of those events

From my experience the Mixteca show on Friday is pretty small. Maybe 40 cars and not a whole lot of other spectators. About a quarter of them were the Mustang car club.

I may swing by the Sanderson Ford show, though my Monte will be at the body shop... someone backed into me in a parking lot. :mad:
