Thumbs up 21st An. Woodward Dream Cruise - Aug. 15, 2015

For the second year in a row, Michigan Monte Carlo Club will be joining First Generation Monte Carlo Club at their annual gathering at the Woodward Dream Cruise - arguably the largest single-day auto event in the World. FGMCC is holding a block of spots for us so reserve yours today!

Saturday, August 15, 2015
6:00 am to 9:00 pm

Reserve Your Spot | Registration is $40 for a 1.5 car wide spot for both Friday evening (Aug. 14) and the entire event day (Aug. 15) and, once registered, your spot is your spot meaning you will be able to come and go to cruise as you wish. To register, please message me with a request for a registration form and your email address. Fill out the form and follow the instructions at the bottom of the form to return with payment. Those who register/attend will receive a goody bad and an event t-shirt.

Location | Our group's space is located at St. Vincent De Paul, right along Woodward Ave in Pontiac - traveling NB, St. Vincent De Paul is on the right just after the Woodward Ave split into the loop around downtown Pontiac. Restrooms and food will be available on site and there's space to sit and watch Cruise traffic.

I am hoping that the Deuce will be ready by this time. Shaheens says it will be, if they get the trannie on time and the install goes smooth. Really want to go. Already paid my parking fee too.

As I'm aware of right now, we have 15 Montes registered with our group between MMCC and FGMCC.

Some details of what to expect - St. Vincent's parking lot borders both Woodward Ave. and a grass area with trees and shade, plus there's also ample space along Woodward to set up chairs, etc. to watch cruise traffic. Our Club's actual parking spots are in two rows facing one another in the front half of the parking lot and you will be assigned to a specific spot. Your spot is yours for the duration of the event and you are welcome to come and go to cruise as you wish. I would like to have all cars on-site at the same time (at least once) for some complete group pictures. There will be food/drinks on-site and you will receive a wrist band for access to St. Vincent to use their facilities.

Lookin at a 50 - 60% chance of thunder showers here in Mason and in Pontiac

I am keeping an eye on the weather. If It looks like its going to rain I'll have to bow out.

Wont take the Deuce out in that.

Tadd, I've looked at multiple forecasts for tomorrow and right now I'm seeing partly cloudy with a 20-30% chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon/evening.
