MMCC's 10th An. Fall Meet PICS
We're still doing our thing in Michigan! We had a beautiful day for our 10th An. Fall Meet at Willow Metropark in New Boston back on September 11, 2021! We had a record 36 Montes and 22 that joined for a cruise to lunch! We had 2 from Ohio, 1 from Indiana and 1 from Wisconsin. For the first time ever, we handed out 6 awards, twice what we've been doing. Always a great time! Thanks for looking.
Wow! Great turn out those are all winners for sure!! Good you have some much appreciation for the Carlo and getting together.
I been working on something for a couple of years and all I get is nodders and when I see them at a Car show they go Yeah we need to do that Lol

Excellent, you guys are the die hards, in the game for the long haul. What an opportunity you all have, being in such a large group of Monte owners. You can see the care taken with each car, totally cherried out for their age. What are the general weather conditions. Say rain 6 out of 10 times etc.? I really want to take my car out there for one of your clubs events. See they have an exclusive W-body event, that is the one I would prefer to attend. Will join the club in the next couple of weeks so I can stay in the loop. Our time is waning, need to do something like this sooner than later. Maybe stop by and snag DriverNumber3 and convoy out.
You will need another award, "Who traveled the farthest in the least amount of time!", lol, vrooommmm!
Looks like it was a nice time. Think I read where it is only 4 hours long? Wow, making memories still. Thanks for sharing the pics, sweet day, jealous!!

You'd think you'd have tons of people chomping at the bit to participate, and it initially seems like that when you talk to people, but when push comes to shove you really just end up finding out that most people don't pay attention to event info, don't put forth any effort, don't have any dedication and flat out don't care enough. If these people cared enough they'd be on top of it and would make sure they set aside the time/date to be there. If these people can't figure it out for themselves, nobody else can. It's unfortunate but it's reality.

I'd say we deal with inclement weather 1 out of 4 events, some years more than others. Weather's been pretty good in recent years. I was planning to go to the W-Body meet this year until he cancelled it. I really want to do it next year so maybe I'll see you there. We try to keep the event duration tolerable, especially for those who aren't accustomed to doing car shows. We do get some people who are more or less Monte Carlo owners and not necessarily enthusiasts. This Fall we did the Meet and then a half-hour cruise to lunch where we hung out and bs'ed for another few hours so it ended up being like 7+ hours.
