In your User CP, go to "Edit Options". Then scroll down to the "Messaging & Notification" area. Inside that area you'll see this:
Under that topic you'll see a pull down menu. One of the choices is "No email notification". This will allow you to subscribe to threads without getting a ton of emails from the site.
Also...
In the purple stripe at the top of each page, there's a quick link "My Recent Topics". Clicking on the down arrow will allow you to view your recent posts.
As for the font, I took a quick look around in the options. I don't think a user can change the default font style or size. If I do find a way, I'll post it. Or if anyone else figures it out, please let us know.
Default Thread Subscription Mode
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

Hmmm....I thought it was just a fluke last time, but it happened again tonight.
Logged in ... and clicked on "new posts" ... and got the "no new posts" message. I know THAT can't be true.... Any ideas? No worries, either way, I guess ... just a bit annoying....lol

there is a lot of posts on this thread so idk if this is already on here. ok so when i go to the MCF.com i can look at the most recently updated threads, but when i log in i can only see threads that were updated since i logged in. idk if that was part of the design but i thought b4 i could always look at the most recent threads. Thanks
I think that the above 3 posts relate to the same issues here, if you don't logon first and hit the remember me box upon logon and check new posts while not being logged in, you lose all the new posts once you log in, kinda hard to explain? I check during work while not being logged in and when I get home I am still able to see all the posts I was able to see at work because I was not logged in and on a different computer! tell me if any of this makes any sense to anybody???
Problems are because of a new procedure mentioned in this announcement:
