The story behind the "zenloser"
A buddy of mine back in my Marine Corps days had a REALLY BAD week.He found out his wife was cheating on him/leaving him she didn't pay any of the bills he gave her money for so he lost this house an car(in the same week
).
The guy who his wife was cheating with showed up on base(not his brightest move)an start to mess with him.My buddy told him to leave or he was going to have a bad day(when a marine tells you your going to have a bad day he means it
)He of course was not wise enough to leave an found out why we were called Devil Dogs.So my buddy ended up demoted an on barracks restriction for a month.
When he got off restriction a bunch of us took him out for a good night of drinking.Being the good friend we were,we had be teasing him about hitting rock bottom.I said it was the art of "zenloserizum" an so it kind stuck with me.Story was much funnier if you were in the car.
Everything turned out for the better for my buddy in a few months.Got rank back an cleared things up with every one.

you didnt bore any one suprised it didnt go bad for your friend. what i mean is bad is yea i come from family that is in three of the four servises i kind of know how bad it could have gotten for the idiot but glad your friend is in a better zen and has better friends to help to pull out of the slump. but i am really like the avatar you have

Since this forum gave me my new internet handle, and the best nicknames and handles are the ones that are suggested by someone else instead of giving oneself a nickname, I would love to have it changed to GrandPaDave...lmk...thanks Lou.
Just a friendly reminder from the first post in this thread.
While we don't have a problem with people wanting to change their name. It's not something you should be doing on a regular basis. We will not keep changing your name every other day, week, month, you get the idea.
