No smiliies
I recently purchased a "refurbished" Dell Latitude E6410 running Win7. It works fine except when on the MCF I can't click on smilies. Is this possibly a setting or something? Not a big problem but a little annoying

Tommy
I just looked and did not see any smiley check box in the control panel. So they must be an automatic thing. Is the option there for you if you click on the go advanced button? |
Yes, I can go advanced and see them but can only copy / paste them. They don't work if I just click on them. Wierd.
|
Yeah I have to copy and paste too and I am using Win7. I thought they were not showing up at all.
|
Try grabbing them and dragging them. that's how I get them.:rotfl:
left click and pull them in and release. they stay. :thumbsup: |
:rolleyes: Click and drag works too. Thanks.

hmmm let's see:thumbsup: ok it works for me too. Heck I was just copying and pasting..cool

Testing smilies. :):thumbsup::rotfl::oops:
Edit: I'm using Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 11, and the smilies seem to be working when I click on them. Could it be your account options? There is an option for posting. I have mine set for WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). The option I'm talking about can be found by clicking on "User CP" in the top red bar (left side). Then click "Edit Options" in the menu on the left. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, to "Miscellaneous Options". In the white box, pull down menu, select "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editting". Then save changes. |
testing using Chrome :rotfl: ok that worked by clicking it when using Chrome but not when using Explorer
Just checked settings and I am on full WYSIWYG...strange |
Trying it again with Active X filtering turned off. :):o:rotfl:
